Add one more item to our one year list: In the past 12 months, no puppies under the age of 3.5 months have been euthanized at Town Lake Animal Center that were on the euthanasia list.
“Since we organized just over a year ago, we have managed to pull every puppy under the age of 3.5 months out of Town Lake Animal Center that we were given access to from the daily euthanasia list,” said Dr. Ellen Jefferson, local veterinarian and APA! president. "Because of our volunteers and our strong foster program, we have saved hundreds of puppies that in previous years would not have survived.”
