Austin Pets Alive! is hosting our first ever benefit concert: Beer, Bands and Buddies this Saturday, August 3rd at Hill's Cafe on South Congress.
In an effort to raise much needed summer funds, this event is full of great music from James Pardo and Jeremiah Houston Band as well as a large silent auction - one item in particular is extremely special.
Famous local artist, Bob "Daddy-O" Wade, has created a unique, one-of-a-kind art piece for Austin Pets Alive! to auction off in hopes of raising over $2,500 from the iconic piece made from a 50 year old Volkswagen Beetle hood, Chevy Camaro wheels, a hot water heater and a dust pan.
The bidding begins on eBay and will run until the end of the event on the 3rd. Businesses and individuals alike are invited to participate in the bidding war - 100% of the proceeds coming right back to your favorite animal shelter, Austin Pets Alive!
Join us for a fun summer night and bring your friends! We will be raffling off two round-trip airline tickets on Southwest Airlines and the first 100 people to enter will receive a $10 gift card to Whole Earth Provision, Co.
