Hi everyone!
If you'd like to come out to the building this weekend to help us get ready for our Open House next week, we'd love the help! We'll be out there from 9-6 this weekend painting, cleaning, installing cabinets, putting kennels together, and fixing up gently used items. We hope to start moving some pets in as soon as next week.
We'll be bringing kittens over on Saturday from noon-6 for our first adoption event at the new building. Please stop by, play with some cute kittens, and help us get our building ready to become their home!
In addition to the painting and other tasks, we also have need for some specific skills:
Handiness with a hammer and saw
Electrical - changing out light fixtures
Land measurement - measuring out our yards and figuring out what we need in fencing
Donation pickup - We have volunteers scouring craigslist and other sites to find used supplies. We need a driver who can go and pick things up for us. Please contact [email protected] if you can help with this.
If you can't volunteer, but would like to help, we need help with getting supplies and materials. You can visit our wish list or donate funds to help us buy what we need.
