[gallery]Mr. Z had a tough time this morning. When I and my other two pups got up for "morning snuggles" he stayed in his bed. I went over to him to give him a pet or two and he was shivering in pain (even though he was still on strong pain meds). I went to the fridge to get him his five daily meds. I put them in a piece of hot dog to ensure he has food on his stomach. He ate it somewhat unenthusiastically, but finally did struggle to stand up. The burns on his legs and underside seem to be healing somewhat, which means the once bleeding skin is drying and tightening up, which is leading to his increased discomfort. He did not enjoy his hydrotherapy this morning. He could hardly stand to have the water touch his back half, poor thing! He did, however, hobble out (sideways, on three legs) in the front yard while I watered the plants.
Last night a kind soul who heard about his plight gave me $20 to go towards his care. I know what I'm buying: tons of hot dogs and Preparation H (I know this sounds weird, but it helps with that infernal itching!)
