Central Texas Parrotheads host Pirate's Ball benefiting Austin Pets Alive!

Argh, Matey! Pirate's Ball be upon us!

Central Texas Parrothead Club brings you the annual Pirate's Ball, a three day party fit for a Pirate!

Check out all of the festivities happening over the long weekend:

• Friday, Aug. 8th:  Welcome Party
  Join us on the pool deck from 7pm - 10pm to kick off the weekend! We'll meet, mingle and conga the night away to live beach style music by local Trop Rock musician Donny Brewer. BYOB.

• Saturday DAY, Aug. 9th:  Walk the Plank Pool Party
  Make your favorite drink and come on down to the pool from 2pm - 5pm. Jump in, cool off and party with the phlock to live music by Texas Trop Rock musician Jerry Diaz. BBQ lunch is included! BYOB.

• Saturday NIGHT, Aug. 9th:  Pirate's Ball
  The main event!  Party like a Pirate from 7pm - Midnight. Cash bar, Pirate Costume Contests, Silent Auctions and Raffles benefitting Austin Pets Alive!, appetizers, souvenirs, and live music by the Perfect Parrot Head Party Band!

• Sunday, Aug. 10th: Sunday Funday
  Reminisce about the night before on the pool deck with live music and $1 breakfast tacos from 10am - 12pm.

About The Central Texas Parrothead Club: The purpose of the Central Texas Parrot Head Club is to provide charitable and educational activities that promote the general welfare of Austin and the Hill Country in Central Texas. Our club is a local 501 (c) non-profit chapter of the Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc., whose purpose is to assist in community and environmental concerns and provide a variety of social activities for people who are interested in the music of Jimmy Buffett and the tropical lifestyle he personifies. The CTXPHC is a diverse group ranging in age from the mid-20's to mid 50's of professionals, retirees, adult students, families with "parakeets"... every single type of tropically-minded person in between.
