Daphne was surrendered by her owners to Town Lake Animal Center at 11 years old and as if that was not enough trauma, she was then placed on their euthanasia list there because she was so scared without her family. She came into APA's program and went to foster where she could become more comfortable. But then after a short time in foster, Daphne started to lose her hair and develop itchy scabs all over. She is also losing weight so obviously something is wrong.
Our veterinary team has tested her for ringworm and mange, but all the usual reasons for hair loss is coming back negative. So the vet team would like to do a skin biopsy to figure out what is wrong with poor Daphne. Will you help her?
