Update: Thank you to Leadership Casis who raised $2,000 to sponsor a cat condo at our new space in Tarrytown! Thanks to them, we will save hundreds more cats every year!
We're so excited about an event coming up that is being planned and run by a 5th grade group at Casis Elementary to help raise awareness and funds for the pets in our program.
On Saturday, March 26th, Leadership Casis* will be hosting Dogs Walking for Paws, a community dog walking event at Lady Bird Lake. Participants can show up anytime between 8:30am and 1:30pm for a walk with their dog (or even without a dog). The check-in station will be set up alongside our regular trail site on the south side of the Mopac pedestrian bridge.
The whole community is invited to participate - they are asking for a $10 donation.
Online registration is now closed, but you can sign up at the event and pay with cash.

We are so thankful that this group of young philanthropists chose APA to partner with!
