Donate Toward The Completion Of Our Overnight Dog Kennels!

As the sawdust is flying around the dog building and volunteer builders are working daily to install our new kennels, we all keep in mind that this is going to make the dog's lives at APA! SO much better.

Currently our dogs stay in appropriately sized crates while they wait to go out to site and rest their tired heads at the end of the day. And this works, it helps us save more lives, but it also makes it harder for dogs to enjoy their time alone and takes a while for staff to get each crate squeaky clean every day.



With our new kennels, life will be roses and dandelions. High walls will give more room for the dogs to stand and move around. Drainage systems will make them easier to clean and make comfortable. The kennels will even allow us to save more dogs as we'll be able to fit more of them in the room than crates because they go directly side by side. We will be able to save more dogs, keep them healthier, happier, and give the counselors more time to give the dogs one on one attention since cleaning will be faster and easier!



Despite all the help we've gotten so far with building them, we're about to come to a standstill. Only a few have been sponsored and our grandeur plans of this doggy paradise are limited by budget. If we don't get more sponsored, we can't continue building.

We also have sponsorship opportunities for the overnight kennels. Sponsorship of one of these kennels will provide not just one, but many future dogs a comfortable place to rest while they wait to find their new homes. The sponsor will have a plaque in their honor placed on the kennel. This would also make for a great dedication to a late pet or a gift to the pet-lover who has it all. Another option for donating is to sponsor any of our available pets. Look on each dog's listing and the sidebar will have an option for sponsoring that particular pet. Anyone who donates $50 or more will also receive a magnet with a photo of that pet! The donation will go to the dogs sleeping place while in our care.
