The Austin Pets Alive! Founders Society honors individuals who have included Austin Pets Alive! in their estate planning.  With APA! in your estate planning, you will create a legacy that will last for generations and create a better future for homeless pets.

Legacy gifts will enable Austin Pets Alive! to achieve long-term financial stability and sustainability.   Almost everyone has the ability to create a legacy gift and for most people, it's the largest gift they can make.  There are many forms of legacy gifts that are easy to create.

We hope you'll be a Founders Society member by naming Austin Pets Alive! as a beneficiary in your will, life insurance policy, pension plan or charitable trust.  Please talk to your lawyer about these preparations.  For more information, please call (512) 961-6519 and ask for our development department or email the development team at [email protected].

If you have pets, you want the comfort of knowing they will be cared for and loved if anything should happen to you.  We strongly recommend that you please remember your pets when crafting your will.  Find someone you can trust to leave them to, and talk to this person so they know your plans.  If, however, you do not have anyone to leave your pets to, Austin Pets Alive! now offers a program called Continuing Care to ensure your pet is taken care of.
