We released our February numbers yesterday - we had 112 adoptions and brought 140 pets into our program last month. We passed the 1,000 mark for pets entering our program since the last week of June and we'll probably hit the 1,000th adoption any day now.
We have big plans for expansion in 2009, so that we can increase these numbers much more. 9,946 dogs and cats were killed at TLAC in 2008. We plan to keep expanding until we can save all of these pets (except for the hopelessly ill and aggressive). We opened a new dog site last weekend and will be announcing more sites soon.
Thanks for your help, Austin! There is absolutely no way that we could be doing this without your support!
