To keep up with the high intake of animals that is coming into the Austin Animal Center, we are offering a special promotion that allows volunteers to foster a litter of kittens or puppies and adopt one for free* (typical adoption fee is $150) if you take in a foster before July 1!
Thinking about getting a puppy or kitten but not sure you’re ready? Try fostering. Fostering is also a great activity for moms and kids to do together as a summer project!
Saving a life can be as simple as offering a home for a week, but the amount of attention the dog or cat will need depends on its age and other circumstances. The APA! foster team will walk fosters through the process and be on call as a resource for any questions or issues that arise.
