Mixie was adopted today! The person who put an app on her came by with their other dog for a meet and greet and, apparantly, it went well.
Thanks so much to everyone who spread the word about her, especially Mix 94.7, which is where her new owner heard about her plight. It's wonderful to see what we, as a community, can do when we work together to help the dogs and cats who get into unlucky situations.
She was adopted straight from TLAC, not through us, so we're not sure yet if we'll be able to get an update on her. But we will definitely be trying - we're dying to hear how she's doing!
