Mission is not complete! Meet this sweet 2yr old Domestic Shorthair Tabby. Mission is a love bug and has a huge heart for us humans! He loves to be pet and loved on and doesn't tire of our affection!
Poor Mission was found with horrible wounds on his front leg. The wounds were so bad that he had to be sedated to properly clean and treat due to pain. Mission has been undergoing bandage changes, pain medications, and antibiotics for the past two weeks and his wounds are finally looking better!
Unfortunately this is the least of Missions problems.
During Mission's wound treatment he was diagnosed with a 4/6 heart murmur and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV is a life-long virus that Mission can live with and be healthy, however, his heart condition is more serious.
Mission had an ultrasound performed and he is in heart failure. This is very uncommon in a 2 year old animal.
Mission's ultrasound needs to be reviewed by a cardiologist and he will need medications to help him be as healthy as possible and live without any symptoms of his failing heart.
Can you help complete our Mission? There is a heart that is depending on it.
