We're very disappointed that YNN decided to air a story about our organization that is factually inaccurate. Saving animals who are on the euthanasia line is what we pride ourselves on, and our numbers clearly state how many lives we have saved. Regarding our financial reporting, our current year balances filed on our tax returns (Form 990) have been accurate.
It has been brought to our attention that discrepancies were noted on the 2010 Form 990 that pertained to 2009 Form 990 balances. We are investigating these discrepancies, but note that the current year standalone filings for both 2009 and 2010 are accurate. The discrepancies noted in the 2010 Form 990 pertained to prior year (2009) balances which did not match the actual 2009 Form 990, and those balances were for comparative purposes only.
