Congratulations to APA! dog foster mom and volunteer extraordinaire, Rona! This is what just a few of her peers here at APA! have to say about her dedication and great work:
Rona is always willing to go above and beyond for ANY dog and do whatever is takes to make sure that she finds the right home for them. If I could speak for all of the dogs she has touched, this is what I think they would say: "We love you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving so much of yourself to help us find loving and safe homes. Knowing that you are out there helping otheres that are currently in the same situation that we were once in (afraid and alone), makes us feel very blessed and happy for them. Thank you, Momma Rona!" - Bonnie, Dog Foster Coordination
Rona is amazing. She usually takes difficult cases into foster - pregnant moms, moms with babies, and all kinds of special needs dogs. She ahs the biggest heart, and her house is full of APA! dogs on any given day, in addition to her own animals! She stands out in a group of dedicated, caring people and is incredibly deserving! - Claudia Alarcon, Dog Foster Special Events Coordinator
Rona stumbled onto APA! in January of last year and has been such an amazing asset to the dog program. She always seems to have 3-4 sets of fosters, and has taken on moms with babies, post-parvo puppies, dogs with broken backs, etc. She takes her special needs fosters to acupuncture and takes dogs that need a little extra attention to classes at the Canine Center. She truly deserves to be a volunteer worthy of mention. - Anonymous
Rona pitches in all the time. She typically has a house full of foster dogs. She takes the hospice dogs, the very ill dogs, the moms and their pups, and covers many shifts for the dog walkers. She is wonderful! - Cathy Bridge, Dog Rescue Volunteer
