He is getting a lot better and has started to pick his back feet up a bit instead of just skating around on them. AND he lifted his leg and peed on my garden! Not the most attractive behavior, but I am sure he is pleased with this improvement.
He has to work on building strength and stability in his back legs. He still tends to bear most of his weight on his front legs. The goal of his pt exercises is to force him to develop the muscles in his hind legs and not rely so much on his front legs. This will help him gain mobility and utilize his muscles to their full capacity. He certainly has room to improve, but is off to a good start.
