"Shelter", recently featured in the Lights. Camera. Help. Nonprofit Film Festival, is a short documentary about the Austin city animal shelter. It follows Austin Pets Alive!, shelter employees, and the animals at the shelter and learn about the problem of pet homelessness and how shelters can be helped to get more animals out alive.
Counter Culture on the North Loop drag will be hosting a screening! They will have a special menu of veggie corn dogs and pasta salad for the night. Please bring cash for food and your own drink. B.Y.O.D = Bring Your Own Dog! Food will be served from 7-8pm and the film will start at 8pm. Afterwards, there will be a discussion with a representative of Austin Pets Alive!
