Our Barn Cats got a little extra love for the month of October.

Not only was the program featured in the Huffington Post, the Barn Cat enclosure on site at Town Lake Animal Center got some upgraded digs with a brand new privacy fence AND they were the beneficiary of the sWheat Shares program for the month of October, thanks to sWheat Scoop.

sWheat Shares is sWheat Scoop’s philanthropic litter donation program. Each sWheat Shares monthly beneficiary receives 2,000 pounds of sWheat Scoop litter for use in conjunction with their programs and here at Austin Pets Alive! we're using the donation toward our unsocialized cats.

A huge 'Thank Mew!" goes out to our volunteers who helped set up the fence for a little extra privacy for our cats and to sWheat Scoop for their generosity.
