At Austin Pets Alive, we believe that every animal should be given a second chance and parvo puppies are no exception. We take all the parvo positive dogs from Town Lake Animal Center and with one week of intensive treatment, we have a high survival rate for these highly adoptable puppies to lead normal, healthy lives. In 2011, we are projecting to save at least 500 parvo puppies in our parvo ward here in the Adoption & Resource Center.
Right now our parvo ward is extremely full and we are in need of financial help for their care. Parvo treatment can be extremely expensive as three days of treatment costs us about $250 per puppy! Please consider donating towards these poor pups so they can be playful puppies again.
