Sorry so long between posts. We actually have a lot of good news. His doctors took xrays yesterday and said his bullae in his lungs is gone! They are going to have the xrays reviewed by the radiologist before committing to that answer but it appears that he has miraculously healed the little air pocket. That is no small feat considering the fact that most of those do not go away ever without surgery. Your prayers and supportive thoughts are working!
He is still blind but he is finally being evaluated for detached retinas (he couldn't stand the restraint before). Maybe there is something that can be surgically fixed to restore vision.
At night he is able to leave the hospital to go home with his foster parent, Cameron. He still has to be hospitalized during the day. She is so sweet to love on him and just hold him. We think that is going to tremendously boost his confidence and personality. The picture above is one she took of him getting a little time outside. She is working on a video to show his walking skills too.
Anyway, really a good week for him. One touching story- Cam took him to get a toy on the way home from the hospital and a customer at the pet store recognized him and bought all the food and toys for him. Thank you to whoever you are. Thank you to everyone who cares about him. He can't help but improve with this amount of love behind him.
