Ranger is a super cute 4 month old retriever/great pyrenees mix.
Poor Ranger has a coxofemoral subluxation due to a traumatic injury. He will need a femoral head ostectomy which means that he basically needs the part of the femur that forms the hip joint to be removed. The surgery is expected to be performed at APA and his recovery will require cage rest to allow for the muscles and wound to heal. He may always have a limp, but dogs normally return to full activity once they have healed.
Please support Ranger's surgery so he can be a puppy again!
