Specifically during the month of May, Wheatsville Co-op and Altar'd State are going out of their way to support Austin Pets Alive!.
Wheatsville Co-op is donating 1% of all sales each Wednesday of May as part of their Community Action Wednesdays. That little bit certainly adds up, as last year Wheatsville raised over $3,000 for APA!. The store (located on Guadalupe St.) is also accepting donations of goods or money to donate right back to the animals. Keep that in mind while stocking up on groceries for your upcoming graduation parties - remember to shop on Wednesday!
Additionally, Altar'd State in the Domain is donating 10% of all sales each Monday of May as part of their Mission Mondays campaign. Avoid the weekend crowds in the Domain by heading out on a Monday to this fashion-focused, yet cause-motivated boutique.
