This month, we are joining Best Friends Animal Society, shelters and rescue groups nationwide for “Back in Black,” a month-long effort to boost adoptions of black-colored cats and dogs and showcase their uniqueness that tends to get overlooked at first glance. Throughout the month, we will be featuring our black-colored pets who need the extra bit of attention to attract their perfect person. For the entire month of May, all black dogs and cats over the age of three months will have reduced adoption fees of $50.
Now meet Sullivan! Sullivan is new to our program and is having a blast so far. He is pretty perfect and ridiculously good looking. He is friendly with all people, seems to like other dogs, and has the cutest horse-like trot when he is off-leash in a play yard. He recently went on a field trip to the trail and he did so well! Met a couple dog friends, was a good boy for his "big sister," and loved being a co-pilot in the car.
Sullivan is exactly the kind of dog that this adoption promotion is meant to shine a spotlight on: a perfectly stellar dog that may be getting passed over because his coat color doesn't initially catch an adopter's eye. So, now that you can see his black stallion-esque good looks, and know he is an easy going big delicious lug, it's time for him to go home! Watch his video and learn how to adopt Sullivan now!
