Austin Pets Alive! received $1000 from Whole Foods to help our Healthy Dogs, Healthy People program! APA takes long-term dogs from our program as well as from Town Lake Animal Center to Lady Bird Lake trail each weekend and the dogs can be "borrowed" for a good run with joggers! This gives the dogs much needed exposure to the public plus the opportunity to exercise.
