The ABGB releases the Austin Pets Alive! American Pale Ale

The Austin Beer Garden Brewing Co. concocted a brand new beer for Austin Pets Alive! in an effort to raise money and find our longest-stay dogs a home.

On May 8th the weather was perfect, despite 80% chance of thunderstorms, and a crowd gathered at the ABGB to try the single-hop beer that gives back. $1 of every pint sold goes directly to Austin Pets Alive!'s life-saving efforts. Industry Print Shop did live screening of four different event themed t-shirts, The 18ft. Airstream PhotoBooth was parked out front with props for fun photo ops, and commemorative pint glasses were being filled with the delicious APA!APA.





Four long-stay dogs are featured on the inside wall of the ABGB and we are determined to find them all homes before the beer is gone! Cafe, Sheeba, Suki and Kate have been at Austin Pets Alive! longer than any other dogs in the shelter, and it's not for lack of cuteness.
