Tipsy is a sweetheart, but her heart’s not so sweet.
At just six months of age, Tipsy was found to have a 6/6 heart murmur (as serious as it gets) and was diagnosed with PDA (patent ductus arteriosus), a congenital heart defect. Tipsy requires surgery to save her life.
Tipsy was surrendered to Austin Pets Alive! because here she can get the treatment she needs to be a healthy and happy puppy. In a traditional shelter, Tipsy’s medical needs would likely be her death sentence. But at APA!, we know that her life is worth saving.
Help us give Tipsy a long life.
Donate to APA! so that Tipsy and other animals who deserve a second chance can be treated at APA!. We’d appreciate it, from the bottom of our (and Tipsy’s) hearts.
