Onyx is a 1yr old female cat that was taken to the Austin Animal Center a month ago with a traumatic leg wound. The leg was in very bad shape and had to be amputated immediately.
Onyx has since been transferred to APA and has recovered from the leg amputation but now her remaining rear leg, the left, is not doing well at all. The knee cap has moved very far out of place and the tendons around it have tightened down so Onyx must have surgery to correct this in order to be able to have the use of her three legs and not just two.
Because Onyx has already had a limp amputation it is very important that the other limbs are kept as healthy as possible and medical issues are addressed quickly!
Can you help APA get Onyx the help she needs ASAP?!
