6/14 update: GOAL REACHED!

Ace has found a place! This 10 month old girl has found the perfect adopter after being with us since February. But before she can be fully released to her new family, she needs knee surgery.

When Ace came to us in February, her prior shelter was facing freezing temperatures in the kennels that were full of stray dogs. They needed to move Ace out to make room for more dogs needing help and we volunteered to take Ace into our care. Ace has not been bearing weight on her right hind leg since she came to us four months ago. At first we were unaware of her injury and we don’t know what caused it. After a consultation with our orthopedic surgeon, it’s clear Ace needs knee surgery.
