Look at that pose! Big Boy is such a ham trying to work it to find his forever home! Big Boy is an 8yr old Pit Mix that was owner surrendered to animal control officers while out in the city. He was in terrible shape, depressed, unable to stand, and had a huge abdomen. Poor Big Boy was suffering from undiagnosed and untreated heart disease. Since his rescue Big Boy has been doing fantastically well and has adjusted to his new healthy life. To keep Big Boy in tip-top shape he has to be on several heart medications, one of them being very expensive. Pimobendan is a common heart medication but the cost is very high.
