Meet Betty Boop! Betty is a 1.5yr old pit terrier mix that is suffering from complications from long-term pneumonia. When APA first treated Betty Boop she was experiencing coughing and signs of pneumonia. After 2 months on strong antibiotics the pneumonia has gotten better but is still not resolved and poor Betty Boop has trouble breathing well and has a chronic cough that is making it hard for her to live a normal life. She can only go and short walks and cannot play for long periods of time. The vets are concerned she could have other contributing problems and are hoping to have a CT scan and and an endoscopy as recommended by internal medicine specialists.
