Colby Cheese is a unique case we’ve recently taken on. She has a long history, having spent most of her life in a shelter or foster home. She came from Pflugerville where she had turned up showing signs of skin issues. Eventually, they asked us to take her. At this point, we believe that she has some kind of environmental allergies, as well as possible food allergies, and a secondary ringworm infection. She is receiving several medications to help her itching, inflammation, and to help heal her skin. We care for a handful of cats with allergies and skin issues each year, Colby’s is one of the worse cases we have seen. We’re working to raise money to cover the cost of a consultation with a specialist, as well as allergy testing. If you’d like to help us meet our goal, please give today.
