Constantine's Ankle Surgery - GOAL REACHED!

OUR GOAL

$1770

10/18 update: GOAL REACHED!

Despite what he’s been through, Constantine is the happiest guy! We seriously don’t have a picture of him where he isn’t smiling. It never ceases to amaze us how happy and loving pets are, no matter the trauma they’ve endured.

Constantine came to us last spring from the city shelter after he was hit by a car. The impact of the car broke his right hind leg and caused spinal trauma. We’ve put his leg in a cast (splint) for months, but despite the splinting, his ankle has been unstable.

We need to perform a tarsal arthrodesis on his right hind ankle to stabilize the hock joint. The procedure involves fusing the bones in his ankle to ensure comfort and regular joint use.

In order for Constantine to live a normal, happy, and pain-free life, we need your help to afford this surgery. Please chip-in to our $1,770 goal for pets like Constantine to get the care that they need!

*At times a chip-in fund will raise more than a pet needs. When this happens, rest assured that excess gifts will be used to help another pet in need of your assistance! Thank you for helping us help pets!
