2/8 update: GOAL REACHED!

Georgie has the most boop-able snoot, you probably recognize him from his chip-in last month! We raised $110 for him to get an abdominal ultrasound after our clinic team found that he had an enlarged heart and liver.

It turns out Georgie’s heartworm disease has become more severe. Heartworm disease causes lasting damage to the heart, lungs, and arteries, and can affect Georgie’s health and quality of life long after the parasites are gone.

Right now Georgie is hospitalized in our clinic, where he is receiving oxygen, fluids, and heartworm medication to treat his early heart failure. Can you chip-in to our medical fund and saves pets vulnerable to heartworm just like Georgie?
