11/9 Update: Goal reached!
When you get a first glimpse of Gidget, you see a boop-able snoot and dreamy brown eyes. Look a little further down her white and mahogany chest, and you see an alarming injury. At just 10 months old, sweet Gidget has a large hole in her chest. Our veterinarians are unsure if this unnerving wound occurred through an attack or an abscess that exploded, but the team has diagnosed Gidget as treatable.
The clinic team’s current plan for our friendly new gal is to administer antibiotics and pain medication as well as keep the wound clean with frequent bandage changes. For this treatment plan, Gidget needs a fund of $400 to heal her severe wound. Will you help us help Gidget by donating to the medical fund?
P.S. Gidget is looking for a foster home to hang out in while she heals! Learn more about her here.
*At times a chip in fund will raise more than a pet needs. When this happens, rest assured that excess gifts will be used to help another pet in need of your assistance! Thank you for helping us help pets!
