8/31 update: GOAL REACHED!

Just one year old, Gloria came to APA! from Bastrop County Animal Services after being hit by a car. Her initial x-rays showed displaced vertebrae on her tail, and when she arrived at our clinic we confirmed the tail fracture as well as an old femur fracture.

This fracture is at the neck of Gloria’s femur which is causing chronic hip pain. With a history of pelvic fractures on top of her tail and femur fracture, we need to be extra careful with this gal. Our orthopedic surgeon will be performing an FHO on Gloria’s left hip to stop the pain and address the old fractures. Will you chip-in for pets like Gloria to get the long-awaiting treatment they need?
