Hanna’s Orthopedic Surgery - GOAL REACHED!

OUR GOAL

$1250

12/1 Update: Goal reached!

Poor Hanna had it rough before making her way to APA!. When Bastrop County Animal Services found her, she was getting beaten up by neighborhood dogs due to her weakened condition. Hanna appeared to have had a long-term injury to her back left leg from a suspected car accident. One of our veterinarians determined that in order to get Hanna as strong as other dogs and ready for lots of puppy playtime, she’s going to need a femoral head ostectomy (FHO).

This $1250 surgery will restore Hanna’s hip mobility by removing parts of her femur for a better fit into the pelvis. Not only will Hanna be up and running again (literally), but the surgery will prevent future hip fractures and dislocations as well as severe arthritis. We can’t give Hanna this much-needed surgery without your help. Donate to our medical fund today and give doggos like Hanna the surgery she needs to heal!

*At times a chip in fund will raise more than a pet needs. When this happens, rest assured that excess gifts will be used to help another pet in need of your assistance! Thank you for helping us help pets!
