Hiro has had quite the journey to her healing. We took her in as an urgent medical case from Austin Animal Center after she was struggling with walking due to bad seizures that they thought could be from head trauma or distemper. Once she was in our clinic, we were able to rule out distemper but she was still having seizures, one strong enough to get this sweetie's face stuck in her crate. We repaired those wounds, gave her oxygen, and tried a different medicine to try to make them stop. We're happy to say we were successful in this and the seizures have now subsided! We believe Hiro ingesting something toxic was the root of these medical issues. We'll continue to monitor her and keep her on the seizure medicine until we're sure she's strong enough to be adopted.
