Hopps' Femoral Head Ostectomy - GOAL REACHED!

OUR GOAL

$1270

4/26 update: GOAL REACHED!

Chip-in for pets like Hopps because every dog deserves to think they’re a lap dog, even if they’re over 80 pounds.

Look who just hopped into the shelter - Hopps! This two year old boy came to us from Luling Animal Welfare Society, about an hour south of TLAC. When our friends at Luling found that Hopps was limping upon arrival, they performed an x-ray and found an old femur fracture and asked us to take Hopps into our care.

When he arrived at our clinic, our vets determined Hopps needs a left femoral head ostectomy to treat his femur fracture and hip injury on his left side. Despite his injury, Hopps is a gentle giant who thinks he’s a lap dog. He loves a cuddle puddle on the couch and is looking forward to being fully released to his adoptive family as soon as he receives this surgery.

Can you chip-in to our $1,270 surgery for pets like Hopps?

*At times a chip-in fund will raise more than a pet needs. When this happens, rest assured that excess gifts will be used to help another pet in need of your assistance! Thank you for helping us help pets!
