9/21 Update: Goal reached!

Impala came to our doors late last week after being hit by a car. The impact left him in a fragile state with two broken legs on the same side and some fractures to the face. After a consult with our orthopedic surgeon, he believes that the back legs need to be surgically repaired for the best overall outcome for this sweet senior. We are in a bit of a time crunch for this case because there's the risk that his fractures will start to heal poorly on their own which will lead to his legs having a harder time fully healing.

We're hoping to perform his surgery on the 24th of this month when our next orthopedic surgery day is, but we have to raise the funds first.
