Meet Kaija. A sweet German Shepherd mix, who unfortunately, has Parvo. Most of the puppies that come into the Parvo Ward at Austin Pets Alive! are much smaller than Kaija, but that doesn’t stop us from helping her. It costs an average of $250 per puppy for the treatment of the Parvovirus, but in Kaija’s case, it will cost more due to her size.
