Kellogg’s babies were just one day old when she came to our clinic as an urgent medical case from Austin Animal Center. We found a large wound under her front leg that showed her bone. We aren’t sure what caused this injury, but Kellogg’s wounds are extensive.

The wound extends from her front, left leg to her chest all the way down to her toes. We can see her femur and her ribs through the wounds, proving just how deep the damage is. Kellogg is suffering from this painful injury all while nursing her young pups.

As of right now we aren’t planning on surgically closing her wounds, but we are treating Kellogg with antibiotics and daily bandage changes. This care routine costs about $300 for Kellogg. Can you chip-in so moms like Kellogg can focus on her newborns?
