Krillin and Maggie Mae Need Their Hearts Checked – THANK YOU! FUND COMPLETE!

Aren’t these two pups adorable!? Krillin (black and white) and Maggie Mae (tan and white) but have diagnosed pulmonic stenosis. Pulmonic stenosis is constriction of the pulmonic heart valve, making blood flowing from the heart to the lungs difficult.

Krillin is a survivor at heart (no pun intended), having been an emergency rescue pull. He was on the verge of being euthanized due to severe heart worm disease. It was a miracle that he lived through treatment but now we need to assess how damaged his heart is.

Maggie Mae had a heart murmur detected at another shelter and was therefore going to be euthanized at that time. She is happy but has a history of coughing up blood and we need to see if anything can be done to help her heart work better.

Both of these dogs need to see a cardiologist as soon as possible! Can YOU help?
