You can tell from Marigold's eyes what a sweet soul she is. We rescued her from a shelter in Lockhart, where she was attacked by another dog. They reached out to us asking for us to take her in to prevent her from being euthanized for space. Of course, we said yes which is how she entered our care. The other dog bit her mouth through a chain-linked fence and wouldn't release her for about 15 minutes, leaving the poor girl with severe lacerations on her face and a torn open bottom lip. She'll remain in our clinic being monitored for infection and getting treatment for her wounds until we're confident she's ready to go to a home.
