Melanie is a 2yr old Terrier foster dog that came to us in July pregnant. She has had her puppies and they are perfectly healthy but now mom is having issues. She was spayed last week but has had mild bleeding internally due to what we think is a reaction from the suture but we need to run blood work to make sure she does not have a bleeding disorder as this is an extremely rare occurrence. She is back in her foster home today and doing better but we still don’t know why this happened.
