1/9 update: GOAL REACHED!
Precious Plainview is named after the Texas city where she was found, pregnant with 10 puppies and facing euthanasia due to a lack of space. She made her way to Austin and a loving foster home where she could settle in and raise her pups.
But, we discovered a severe heart murmur when she came in for spay surgery. An echocardiogram revealed her heart is working overtime to pump blood to her lungs. This young lady, at just 2 years old, can’t run and play and needs to see a cardiologist to see if surgery or lifelong medication can reduce the strain on her heart and help her avoid heart failure. Her consultation costs $1,000 and can give her another chance at the long life she deserves. Can you chip-in for her today?
