Quirk arrived at our Medical Triage and Wellness Clinic doors last night in critical condition. He had a PVC of 9% (red blood cells count), where the normal average for dogs is between 35-50%, so he underwent a blood transfusion right away in order to stabilize him. He's showing symptoms of parvovirus but tested negative for it, so we believe parasites are causing his troubles. At only three-months-old, Quirk needs a lot of medical attention in order to pull through this.
