4/28 update: GOAL REACHED!

Meet the it-girl everyone is talking about, Regina George. Adopted as a puppy, Regina was recently returned to us obese and unable to bear her own weight. Due to the weight gain, Regina is suffering from luxated patellas in both of her hind legs, causing her to be unable to walk.

Not only is this injury extremely painful for Regina, but it requires surgery on both of her knees. Without the surgery, Regina can’t get up from a resting position without help. It is difficult and painful for her to get to her feet and we are assisting her with this task using some muscle and a sling, but she is starting to be able to get up on her own. Once she is up on all four she is able to walk around and go out to use the restroom.

It would be so fetch if you chipped in to Regina George’s $4,020 surgery.
