UPDATE 9/7: GOAL REACHED!
Rhino is a bouncy and playful puppy! He can’t use his back legs, so he hops around on his front legs to get to where he’s going. He’s learning how to use a wheelchair too! Rhino has swimmer’s syndrome, so his back legs stick out to the side instead of supporting his weight.
We want to give Rhino a chance to build up strength in his back legs. The repeated impact from hopping or dragging his legs on the ground can lead to sores and injuries over time, especially as he gets bigger. This sweet pup needs a consultation with a specialist to start physical therapy for his back legs. Will you chip in today for his $500 treatment so this fun guy gets a chance to walk?
