12/24 update: GOAL REACHED!

At just one year old, Rhonda was found frightened, alone, and severely injured. She was found under a tree, barely moving with multiple punctures in her abdomen. Her original shelter, Bastrop County Animal Services (BCAS), determined Rhonda was attacked by another dog. This left her punctures infected and swollen, with pockets of fluid and blood. When BCAS got her, she also had a fever around 103 degrees.

Rhonda is still very traumatized by her attack, but we think with proper care and love she’ll be ready to find the perfect home. Our team is currently working to keep her wounds clean and monitor her pain. Rhonda needs $150 for wound care and pain medications. Can you chip in to help pets like Rhonda heal?
