Little Romeo is on distemper watch. We took him in as a medical case from San Antonio Pets Alive after he was displaying symptoms of distemper because we're one of the few shelters that treat dogs with distemper. Treatment includes intensive vitamin C through IVs. It takes a lot of time and money to care for these vulnerable sick puppies to make sure they're clear of distemper.
